“La mia Toscana” is a tourist project created by the travel agency Arianna & Friends s.r.l. It combines a variety of elements to organize a perfect holiday: a sojourn in the country, genuine wine & food, tasting of typical, products, relaxation, interesting and innovative experiences, sports in nature, human contact, friendliness and a warm welcome, quality, professionalism. Tourists can choose any kind of services and activities and they become the architects of their holiday.

The project is inspired by the desire to divulge the secrets of an area, the Era Valley, near Pisa, rich in history, art, tradition and natural beauty, where the agency has selected two holiday farms, destinated to sejourn of tourists. Both offer accommodation in very comfortable apartments and rooms, all with a swimming pool and high quality facilities.

“La Mia Toscana” looks after its guests with care, hospitality and professionalism. It offers the opportunity to deeply know Tuscany, its history, its traditions and its people. It organizes outdoor activities such as bike tours in Tuscany, trekking and quadding.

The hotel is well-known for its peaceful atmosphere and the dreamy environment that welcome clients. The structure, completely restored, is surronded by a big garden, where it’s possible to spend a holiday in absolute tranquillity.

It is only 200 metres from the sea, in the centre of Forte dei Marmi, the most important turistic location in Versilia.

Each room has bathroom, satellite television, strongbox, telephone, internet point, heating and air-conditioning, espresso machine, balcony and minibar, to satisfy each type of necessities.

The kitchen proposes a varied menu and there is also the possibility to have meals in the garden during fine weather.

The actual Fibbiano farmhouse was built in 1707 and is located in the council of Terricciola in Tuscany on the Pisa Hills between Pisa and Volterra. It is place on the top of the hill with a 360° scenic view, offering you a unique experience, taste and landscape. The fattoria is crossed by white roads and footpaths that allow the guests to stroll through fields of wheat, sunflowers, olive tree plantation, vineyards and woodland.

The buildings have maintained the original characteristics, typical of Tuscany rural construction, even if they have been completely renovated. The main building of approx 1000 sq.mt. includes six apartments of various size for the guests, the wine tasting room and the apartments for the family owner that here lives.

The agritourism will remain open around the year and the owner invite the interested guests to participate to the harvesting of grapes and olive.

Comfortable farmhouse surrounded by the fields and the colours of Valdera’s hills. It lies on a hilly tableland planted with olives, in an ideal position to be in touch with nature.

The three old stone buildings, dating back to 1700, have been restored but they maintain the old peasant style of the Tuscane architecture, with high levels of comforts, typical of the modern living.

Each apartment includes pretty bedrooms and they all have an indipendent bathroom. In the external area, a beautiful swimming pool, with a large solarium in bricks, is placed in a gentle slope boarding a pinewood in a quite sunny position.

The farmhouse is not far from the main cultural and historical Tuscan cities and it’s an excellent starting point from which to explore the Tuscan countryside with many excursions in the nature.

It’s possible to buy directly many products: extra virgin olive oil, wine, honey, jam, fruits and vegetables of the season.

Comfortable farmhouse situated on a hilly upland that extends over 70 hectars. Santo Pietro is surronded by a beautiful landscape and all around you can appreciate olive groves, vineyards, wheat and sunflowers. It’a the ideal place for a holiday, thanks of its favourite geographical position halfway between the sea of Livorno and Viareggio and some of the most renowned towns of Tuscany’s hinterland, such as Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, Firenze, Siena.

The original ancient farmhouse has been recently restored fully respecting its original architectonic features, typical of Tuscany’s countryside. Lodgings have a direct external access with an independent entrance hall and private bathroom. Furnishing has been carefully studied to respect the traditional taste and offer all the comforts of modern lifestyle at the same time.

Two special lodgings in the previous hayloft have been especially designed to avoid all architectural features that deny access to the disabled and to grant them the maximum possible comfort.

A swimming pool is located in the external area, in a good sunny position, surrounded by a large terracotta terrace.

Torre prima is a farmhouse situated on top of a hill from where it’s possible to delight the beautiful view over the surrounding valleys of centuries-old olive trees, vineyards, oaks, mediterranean scrub, old-aged cypresses, that reflect the taste,the colors and the smells of Tuscany territory.

It is 3 Km away from the historical center of San Gimignano, a typical medieval town, rich of Etruscan archeological finds, elected as world human heritage and so safeguarded and protected. Thanks of its central position, it’s possible to reach quickly all main tuscan art towns and touristic localities.

The cottage is divided in 3 apartments all recently restructured with the typical tuscan style and all of different size and tipology, able to host from 2 to 6 persons. They are situated on the ground floor, all with an independent entrance. They include a wide external area equipped with garden fornitures, in order to best satisfy visitors’ requirements.

2008 Workshop Dates: July 1- 8 and July 15 – 22

Our experience is purely Tuscan, and is one of the best personalized tours of Tuscany available. We have in-depth knowledge of the history and traditions which have combined to create this wondrous land and we do not want to keep it a secret! We have left nothing out, from the authentic Tuscan cuisine, the Chianti wine tasting, the motorcoach excursions, the art history tours to Florence, the Uffizi, and Siena, and comfortable accommodations in a 15th century villa padronale. Our instructors are world-class, and all are members of The American Watercolor Society. With our flexible schedule, you will be given individualized as well as group instruction and can paint or sculpt as much or little as you like.

In addition to the splendid days and nights at the villa, we will take three excursions by motorcoach. Our first stop will be Florence, capital of Tuscany and seat of the Renaissance. On a walking tour of Florence we will see the famous Ponte Vecchio, Pitti Palace and Santa Maria del Fiore, the Duomo of Florence with Brunelleschi’s dome and Giotto’s tower. We will also visit the medieval city of Siena.Florence
We will spend a morning at the Uffizi Gallery where we will be guided through the most important rooms and taught about the progression of Italian art from the 12th century to the 16th century. After a leisurely lunch at any of Florence’s great restaurants we are free to explore the great shopping treasures of this wonderful city, which include leather goods, jewelry and clothing found nowhere else in the world. In the afternoon we may visit the Bargello, national sculpture museum, or the Davanzati Palace, a perfectly preserved nobleman’s home from the 15th century.
